About Us
Mission Statement
The mission of MTI is to conduct cutting-edge research and train students in computational and data science, nurturing their proficiency in 21st-century research skills. While doing so, we aim is to provide them with opportunities for college scholarships or acceptance into graduate or medical school while empowering their journey as aspiring leaders within their respective fields.
We are committed to pursuing this mission in intellectually stimulating, diverse, and inclusive groups, fostering innovation, ethical leadership, and a global perspective. Mentorship and collaborative endeavors serve as our foundation, preparing students to navigate an ever-evolving technological landscape with adaptability and agility.
Student Internships at MTI
Diverse research teams with 6-10 students are formed for each project. University professors or Ph.D. research associates lead each group. Students complete a 6 week rigorous work in summer and at the end, present their findings in our annual research symposium. Interested students are invited to continue on the project into the semester and publish their findings with the professors as co-authors. Our previous students won tremendous amounts of college scholarships and also entered into top medical schools upon publishing with us.
